Congratulations on your 1st dozen also. Another first for me is I just now sold 5 bakers dozen cartons to my brother! That’s all I had except for the ones I got today.

I love how pretty they are in the cartons! These more recent eggs sure make a pretty basket!!! They're getting bigger too, since it's pullets laying them all!

If the egg has 113 on it that means it's from breeder pen #1 & the day is the 13th. That way I can keep track of which eggs are the freshest & when I set them who the parents are.

Based on the numbers, you have quite a few pens to maintain!

I've seen cartons that hold 6, 10 (Japanese), 18 but I've never seen one made for a baker's dozen.

I've got 5 pens with breeding/laying sets, 1 pen of boys on standby, and 1 community pen of Bobwhites. I've been working on a bigger enclosure for my Bobs for spring when they pair up, I'll then have 3 too many boys. I have 2 empty 2'x3' pens.....soon to have the ones that're in the house in them.

17 eggs for me today! Wish me luck getting home from work tomorrow. We are supposed to be getting snow, sleet & ice starting around 9AM. Hopefully by 4PM the roads will be okay!
