How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Came out with 9 in the main coop. 3 in Silkie tonight 4 sussex braved the wilds to step out of their little coop all bak in safe tonight

12 eggs today, 5 from the pen 6 from the cage and 1 from the brooders/carriers

If you lived closer I'd give you some of mine. I have 14 and a half dozen sitting on my kitchen counter!
I have 2 people that want some but the roads have been sketchy the last 2 days. Now I head into my 3 days of working 12 hour shifts. So Monday is the first time I can get some to one lady. Then I have to take my mom in for surgery. She is having her artificial knee repaired on Tuesday. She has to be there by 5AM, so I'll be getting up at 3 like I was going to work!

Both Welsummers. One beautifully speckled
Two of three EEs. The tan layer and the blue layer. Olive layer hasn't started back yet. She's a slacker.

What is their feed?

Purina flock raiser with oyster shell and grit available. If I have to hazard a guess it’s light levels. I don’t light the coop. I could, I have lights in there but chose not to.

Never have been a fan of Purina .. but yes more than likely it is the light level

This is actually the first bag of the Purina I’ve used. I bought Nutrena all flock for the first couple years but the feed store that carries it is in Kingston, and although I love the place it’s just not on my way to anywhere! I’d forgotten about The CHS in Poulsbo, they have Payback which I liked but when it started getting cold I gave the Purina a whirl. It has a little more protein and other things.
From here on out though I think I’ll get whichever is fresher. Probably the Payback.
