I found this when I got home!

Now I know where one of my eggs got to today.

20 coop eggs today...
10 quail eggs...

Boiled about 150 quail eggs today....
I had to take a break shelling them....
So many eggs, such tiny little shells!!!!

SIXTY eggs a week??? That is over 4 eggs each every day!

FIL eats probably 7-10 eggs a day....

3 eggs today. Different hens from yesterday so they are starting up again. This week is supposed to be cooler. Hope they keep it up.

14 eggs today.
Did not get the coop cleaned.
I think I am fighting a cold or allergies. I have a sore throat. Had chills too but no fever.
Had to stop by and see my Mom on my way to the allergist. Apparently Mom "donated" (left behind) another phone charger at the hospital. Her cellphone has been dead since Saturday evening and no one could get a hold of her. Last we had heard from her she said she wasn't eating because she was in too much pain.
Now she is battling diarrhea. They are going to see if she has C-diff. She also hasn't done much PT because her leg is supposed to stay wrapped and that makes it pretty impossible to do the PT.
She is also not entirely with it. She told my brother that she had just gotten to rehab today ( this was her 3rd day there).

Just washed up all the eggs on the counter to carton & put in the fridge.... over 150 eggs!!! There are more than 8 eighteen packs of eggs in my 2 fridges now. I even have an entire carton of green eggs for incubation set aside...

Time to send some to the M&FIL.

I just checked the coop and found my little blond EE sitting on a nest. Hopefully this afternoon I’ll discover that I only have one EE left to start laying.
