Today I got 8, but I think I am still waiting on one more, here is my catch from the last 5 days or so...View attachment 2022326
But we did eat some, and some not it the pic...White are spitzenhauben I would like a couple more of those hens, blue Ameraucana, and green is EE. Dark brown shiny is BCM, Dark brown dull is Welsummer, pinky tan is LO, tan is AC, and solid blue wyandotte is also laying tan.

Those are nicely colored eggs. Your BCMs and Welsummers are very good quality.

Thank you sealer, The people I got the BCM eggs from got their hatching eggs from back east. I hatched out 3 BCM and some other eggs. 2 were boys. I found them homes and kept the girl. There was a darker BCM egg but it got broke by the hen. Welsummer I got from a feed store, (Meyer meal maker) the feed store had .68 roosters, I sniffed around and saw one I thought was female.( just looked for one with a good stripe) I was hoping she would lay the tan eggs with spots. I like the really dark matte eggs she lays, so I ordered some welsummer hatching eggs, and hope to raise them after they hatch and see what color egg they lay.

One for six birds today! It was bouncing between 65 and 66 grams, so either way a solid extra large.

I currently have some blue copper marans in incubator, they are not as dark, but I am after the blue feathered look, which I love. I have blue andelusian, LO, blue wyandotte, BLRW, and a blue frizzle. I do have a black blue Ameraucana too, I am hoping will have blue chicks we will see.

9 today. Hopefully that quantity will continue as I can't fill my 4 customers' orders on 6 eggs a day even if we eat none at all.

What laid That?? I got 3 eggs from 7 hens today, 5 yesterday, we've had snow all day today... 2 hens are going on 3yrs, 2 hens are going on 2yrs, and 3 are 8mo old. I do not provide artificial light.
