 
 
I know.Very sad on both counts! I REALLY hope the Welsummer doesn't have Marek's. REALLY REALLY. Because if she does the others very likely do as well. And it can live outside the birds for years in the soil which makes it nearly impossible to get rid of once you've got it on your land.

		 I’m so lucky they didn’t strangle themselves! My egg eaters in timeout laid 2 of today’s 4 eggs. I let them keep them, hoping they will recognize that THAT coop is the broody coop. This brings their total (3 days) clutch to 7. I doubt they will actually brood though, even my Cochins seem to be hardworking egg-tossers, not broodies. Maybe Ideal breeds that out of theirs. Maybe I’m just clueless.
