How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

So this morning the black broody hen has all 4 chicks. I removed the 9 eggs that were laid yesterday in the floor nest that she took over with the chicks. The Barred Rock broody has 2 eggs in her nest. I’m going to let her go and see if she hatches any.

I have 8 hens, i got 7 eggs today and yesterday, 8 eggs on Saturday and Sunday. I usually get a minimum of 6 eggs unless something upsets them. Had a dog attack today so i dont know what to expect tomorrow. If anyone has a moment to maybe address that, ive made a post in the emergency thread.

I brought in 7 that were laid today and 9 that were laid yesterday. Tomorrow I will get the ones that were laid today that are under the broody and her 4 chicks. I'll grab them when she and the chicks are off the nest.

I stuffed one hatched this morning with a silkie that sat in the corner nothing will make one go broody faster pop a live chcike under em .........
12 main coop and 2 from silkie
