I got 5 white eggs from 5 white leg horns. And that's great as I have one leg horn with a badly injured foot and leg. Caught in a wire dog crate on the 11th. She is putting some weight on the foot. She is not eating much. I try to feed her every hour or so because she is used to free choice food and OS. But she is roosting on the lower roost and she seems to have managed to get into the top nest box. She wasn't laying for a few days. Probably due to pain, stress, and poor intake. I think she's gonna recover albeit in a long time. She is headed in the right direction.

Poor girl! I hope she recovers quickly

15/24 laying hens. They’re still recovering from fowl pox and well as having 20 new flock members (chicks) added to the flock. Lots of adjustments so hopefully we’ll be back on track soon...

Well she just layed an egg, so . Her comb is so light and small, I wasn’t expecting it. She was egg bound for around an hour, then the egg broke inside of her and it all came out. She seems okay though.
