My girls (EE) will be 21 weeks on Sunday and have not started laying yet. I’m going away for the weekend and hubby is on egg watch. I figure this is the weekend they will chose to lay their first egg. As much as I want them to start I hope they don’t until I’m home!

EEs can take a while to start. I have one that started at 25 weeks, and another that still hasn’t laid an egg at 28 weeks. I wouldn’t worry too much while you’re gone.

My little egg was from my splash ee. 22 weeks on the nose.

1 aged out, 1 six years & lays 5=6x weekly, 12 pullets 19-23 weeks...3 are new layers.

I can finally reply to this thread: I got ....1! I have 3 20-week old Golden Comets and one laid for the first time this morning.

Congrats on your first egg! Comets are copycats. You"ll have 3 eggs daily real soon!

21 weeks would be REALLY early for any EE I've gotten.

Well my girls just had to make a liar out of me today...some were just on a break the last 2 days...lol
13 out of 16 today...I think that the whitest colored egg is coming from one of my BO girls!

Veey nice my EE's alwaya take forever to begin laying. Im waiting on four 23 week old EE pullets to start. The soonest ive had was 24 weeks, the latest was ariund 10 months!
