I’ve seen several ads locally to rehome flocks. I’m betting there will be more as the weather gets colder/rainier.

I bet. There is a lady here trying to sell pullets that are nearing POL on the Front Porch Forum. She has a bunch, different breeds. I wonder if she got a big shipment from a hatchery hoping to raise them for a profit from all the Covid wannabe chicken keepers. She listed them a number of times before putting a price on them - $20 each.

4 today. I think my older hen is starting to molt. She’s losing a few feathers and her eggs are getting funny shaped. At least I have pullets that should get us through the winter.
