3 out of 6 again today! This time the new layer Hazel laid a “small” egg. It was only 68 grams.

A very surprising THREE today? I wouldn't expect any this time of year but Aurora (AustraWhite from Meyer) STILL hasn't moulted and her 'sister' Gretel laid today. Her comb isn't real red but it is getting bigger. Vienna has laid 3 in the last week.

I'm not complaining but I AM confused (about this and any number of other things).

7 out of 8, but one was a shelless pullet egg. It’s only her second egg so she has an excuse.

4 again. That’s a good thing though. Neither EE laid today. So today I know for a fact 3 big girls are back to laying and a mystery pullet. But of course the EEs could have laid and that investigation would have went exactly the same. In other news, Rusty the Rooster is making sure I’ll have no excuse to not hatch chicks this spring and he hasn’t picked a favorite. Instead the love is being spread evenly.

I’m curious which of those is the Buff Orpington egg. Is it the really light brown? I think my mystery pullet is one of my Buffs.
