I got two today the speckled one (new one) I found under the coop , but I'm just happy 2 of my 33 week old freeloaders are finally laying I'm not sure who laid the speckled one yet , hopefully I'll catch her in the act tomorrow.

10/11. Making room in my coop for some new breeds, sold two of my layers today coincidentally after they laid eggs. Went to a lovely couple who keep hens for pets and eggs. Sorry to see them go, but happy they will be well cared for.
Chicken math goes both ways apparently.

Newbie here! Newbie chicken mom too. I got my FIRST TWO eggs today!! I'm so excited. But I have to ask a question....how long can I wait to put them in the incubator? My incubator holds 42....and I only have 2 now.....TIA
