How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

9 today. Got my first ameraucana egg! It’s a little darker blue than what I get from my EEs. I also figured out it was my brahma that started yesterday, not my orpington. I have 12 now I think laying. I need to build more nest boxes, I peeked in the coop this morning and they were all occupied, with another hen waiting for one.

Most of mine are way to grumpy to do that. I got screamed at by 3 different girls today for getting too close to the nest they were in lol.

6 out of 21.
Still got 8 pullets to start and 2 out of 9 of my older girls possibly could be in henopause.
I haven't caught them on the nest, but they could just be sneaky.
They're my old biddies that keep the kids humble so eggs or not they've got job security.

I got two today the speckled one (new one) I found under the coop , but I'm just happy 2 of my 33 week old freeloaders are finally laying I'm not sure who laid the speckled one yet , hopefully I'll catch her in the act tomorrow.
