I got 7 roosters and not a one of those damned lazy birds will give me an egg. They stay up all nigh long making a rukus, partying, and then start again at 3 in the morning! You'd think ONE of them would be responsible enough o lay an egg but NOPE!! All they care about is themselves! Typical male. Folks if you want reliable egg layers, get hens, the roosters just won't cut it. Loud Lousy Animals. FoodFodder ALL of em..... Im going back to sleep WITH EARPLUGS~

So Please do you have more than one. Birds are social creatures. The only wire safe is hardware cloth they cannot reach through it

4/4 again today! I think in the past 2 months, we've only had one day where we got 3 eggs... This can't be good for them, but there isn't much I can do!

4 out of 5 best number so far think my BA just laid 1st egg. But one of my red sex links is on strike! Birdbrain! She only laid for 2 months! But she had a weird day lethargic, then spent afternoon in nest box and next day found what appeared to be shelless blob on box. She is fine but no egg since. Vent area looks good.

Yeah I get all ready to make meringues and I have 6 eggs. I am trying to make a double batch and so I need 2 more. I go out to my 10 hens and expect at least 4 eggs. 1. 1 stinking egg! So I ended up not making a double batch. It was quite hilarious!
