It doesn't matter what the temp is at night, they USUALLY don't lay then

Though I've had a few "off the roost" eggs over the years and yep the ones laid in the really cold weather were frozen and cracked.
What are the temps supposed to be during the day Tuesday? Can you check the nests a few times during the day or do you have to be away from the house? They don't freeze immediately, I usually go out every 3 hours to check for eggs. If more than one hen is laying in the nest they will collect up any existing eggs so that keeps eggs that were laid earlier from freezing.
