How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

The first was a gold laced wyandotte, the second a wyandotte/leghorn mix, third a cuckoo marans and now the fourth is an australorp.
I broke 4 broodies last summer. Since then none of them have even remotely acted broody. One died after making through a horrible molt. I think they’re paying me back for breaking them. BUT, I have 2 Buffs that I hope will be broody. One, Buffy, clicks and screeches when anyone gets near her on the nest whether it be human OR chicken! She says stay back bro!

It doesn't matter what the temp is at night, they USUALLY don't lay then ;) Though I've had a few "off the roost" eggs over the years and yep the ones laid in the really cold weather were frozen and cracked.

What are the temps supposed to be during the day Tuesday? Can you check the nests a few times during the day or do you have to be away from the house? They don't freeze immediately, I usually go out every 3 hours to check for eggs. If more than one hen is laying in the nest they will collect up any existing eggs so that keeps eggs that were laid earlier from freezing.
I work 12 hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, so on those days I don’t get to check until after I get home in the evening.

Look like lash eggs where they together like that ?
Do you know which hen layed it ?
They don’t look like lash eggs to me. At least not like the lash eggs I got many years ago. These just look like soft shelled eggs where the insides came out.
First, got 6 eggs from 7. Wonder if these 2 shell-less ones were from the same girl? They were together laid near the nesting boxes. Could the sudden snowstorm have caused this to happen? We have over 12" on the ground, and mid 20's to low 30's. It has been in the 40-50 range until this weekend. I'd also been finding cute pullet eggs before this.
