Lights or no lights, I wouldn’t want to lay an egg either if the weather has been like this for 3+ months. I might have to start begging for some sunlight

10 today. We gave away like 5 dozen this week so we finally have a reasonable number of eggs in the fridge again.

Reasonable amount.... It's not reasonable to expect a reasonable amount to reasonably stay reasonable for any reasonable amount of time because the reason we got chickens is because they lay a reasonable amount of eggs with a reasonable amount of care as long as the weather is reasonably warm. The reason our neighbors are reasonably nice to us is because when the number of eggs becomes unreasonable, we find that as a good reason to give some to our reasonable neighbors a reasonable amount of eggs to help the unreasonable stack become more reasonable. For whatever rreason.

I got either 4, 5 or 6 eggs today. I remember bringing in 2 eggs when I let them out and I think I just got 3 or 4 more. I should be able to remember, it was just a few minutes ago.

Don't feel bad about the CRS. Im happy when I remember to take them out of my pockets before I put the jacket somewhere and sit on it.

We went over freezing today for the first time since mid December. Aurora STILL hasn't had her first adult moult at 19 months, she's been laying 4+/week since Dec 10th, 2019.
