How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

10 today and my dumb butt knocked the hatch carton off the table and broke one . I was in a hurry like the eggs were gonna run away. I’m collecting eggs again for another run at hatching. This winter storm ruined hatch #2. So, I’m 0 for 2 in the egg hatching game.

In other news I sold 10 dozen today!

I think all hens stand once the egg is about to come out. Do you have hay or shavings in the nest boxes? My guess is it cracked because the shell is thin.

I have pine flakes in their nesting boxes , the shell is nice an thick like the rest of the other girls eggs idk she's an odd one like the other day she was standing in the run and plopped out a fart egg like nothing happened lol

Only 2 but it's the 2 that stopped laying November 30th. One re-started a week ago and the other today. Yay! Both my speckled egg layers too so my eggs are going to be prettier again.

Okay well lets see 9 one day then 13 yesterday. broke 2 in pocket coming in today so 6 so far

Lights or no lights, I wouldn’t want to lay an egg either if the weather has been like this for 3+ months. I might have to start begging for some sunlight
