I'm out of room in all of my broody breakers.... I need more wire crates

8 today. The broody OE is on my last nerve!!! Not only is she scaring everyone out of the boxes but she busted out of broody jail tonight. Went to check on her before heading upstairs for the night and she was sitting in the nesting box, crate open and off the blocks. She spent some time in the shower today too. Such a trouble maker!!!!!

Good times in Broodytown! When I have 1 broody I’m ready to put her in the stew pot. I can’t imagine dealing with the broody hens that comes from a bunch as big as yours!

As of today, I have 11 full on broody ladies, and 2 who are seriously contemplating the idea.

With 8 pullets, I'm consistently getting 7 or 8 eggs with a double yolker pretty much every day. Sizes are increasing nicely too.
