1 out of 1 I felt my OE’s egg cartridge and it’s closed up so no more from her ever I miss her green eggs

After 3 long nights in transit only 1 of my 12 little Cochins survived. I know the poor thing is traumatized. I went to TSC and got 4 sapphire gems to be its new chicken family. Ideal was very sympathetic to the situation as expected and will ship more chicks. I dare say it’s quite selfish to try again but I hope to get my own little flock going and fill the gap in this area for this particular breed.

There was 8 yesterday have two older hens still laying every other day now

10 yesterday, 9 today. Our little miracle chick had me worried because it wasn’t eating or drinking. We got very little liquid by way of dropper. The sapphire gems are the best big sisters. They never picked on the little one and even tried to show it how to eat and drink. It apparently caught on because I’ve finally witnessed little Miracle eating and drinking all on his or her (hopefully her) own.

I got two today out of four laying age silkies and one ayam cemani, they are starting to lay finally! I’ve gotten a total of five so far (this whole last week), and I know two silkies are laying for sure as I witnessed it today I need my ayam to lay!! All my other birds are two young and or boys
