9 yesterday. We had a total of 24 chicks that hatched out of 30 eggs. 3 died overnight in the brooder. That’s never happened from eggs I hatched so it was a shock but I know it happens. We’re thankful for the ones we got!

I did the best I could with this picture. These are my bantam Cochins. What’s up with this little guy’s wing feathers? Is that the sign of a frizzle? They stick out like he’s about to take flight!
