More than a flat. Flock in Sig. Best current estimate is 45+ layers, some still immature, including the duck hens - who were slackers (1) today.

Only 12 today, and 2 of those were frozen solid. When it's this cold I need to check the nests maybe a little more often than I did today.

We only have 4 hens. One is almost 4 years old. Three are turning 2 this spring. They all stopped laying on or about Thanksgiving. We started adding supplemental morning light the day after Thanksgiving. We went from 11/23-12/31 with no eggs. Our first egg came on New years day. Yay. The long egg drought is over.
