Well i dont need them laying until Hatching season lol stupid me left my eggs out last night and they froze so my rats got them

2 out of 7 ladies. One has been producing 1 egg every other day.. she started laying in December for the first time (7 months old). The OE gave me a surprise egg today!

My oldest hen started laying over the weekend, so all three are laying now! Just a matter of getting them to lay all on the same day...
In fun news, it looks like I'm getting fertile eggs now! I'm testing one from each lady in my little incubator and so far the one from Meryl Peep (white EE) is doing well. Zelda's (black EE) is questionable, but she lays darker eggs than Meryl Peep so it's harder to see. She-Ra's (gold lace wyandotte) was just set yesterday so I can't tell yet. But that's exciting, I was hoping my rooster would figure things out so I can start growing out meat chickens periodically.
