Got ten eggs today (out of twelve hens).

3 out of 5 laying - it’s been slow for a few weeks - they’re all molting and the days are short.
The 6th one hasn’t paid rent in several months since going broody, but it’s ok - I got her a couple 2-day old chicks that are now 3 weeks old. She’s been the best mamma hen! It’s been lots of fun watching her care for them and watching them grow.
