ironimagery - This was our 4th egg, do know how many are laying could be just 1 - 4 pullets, we have 30. Got 3 eggs last week (in the same nest box) every other day since Tuesday, then nothing til last night. We let them free range in the evenings, so I guess they could have laid somewhere in the yard

I didnt let them free range yesterday.

we have been getting 5 eggs a day for the last week!! WOOTTTTT!!! lol only 3 hens that arent laying... GAH and these GSL are 25 weeks! lol waitin... soon the silkies will be laying i hope they are about 18 weeks... *sigh*

I collected 12 today. But, I think that since I only got to collect eggs once yesterday, that some were from yesterday. I probably only Really got 8 today. Still, it was a good day - considering my girls are still relatively young.

We now have 3 doz. eggs in the fridge, and I just gave away 3 1/2 doz. within the past week. Phew - LOVE having so many eggs!!!

One of my Barred Rocks has given me an egg for 13 straight days. Yea Margaret! Lori her counterpart gave me an egg two days then today nothing.

I was so disappointed. Her eggs are darker in color and are speckled red. Margarets are lighter with no speckles. Her's really haven't grown in size either in the 13 days; they're still small.
