I got seven today, and one of those is a jumbo. Double yolk? I'll find out later. I tossed them a handful of crushed eggshells to munch on after I picked up the eggs.

Well, I had a straggler. I found egg #8 in the box at 5PM when I went out to lock them in their secure run for the night. The girls are all pulling their weight!

3 blue, and 3 pink, my fourth silkie has decided after the whole yr not being broody, to go broody - sheesh!

The chicklets have still not started laying, they will be 29 and 27 weeks tomorrow….. I think they will wait till spring now. Winter has arrived here.

Hi All! I've never even seen a chicken in person in my 59 years but became a chicken mama this past February to these 3 Penny, Bessie & Tuti and just found this group while searching how to keep my chickens from eating all of flowers lol!
I've gotten 3 eggs a day since February but only getting 1 a day in the last 4 days!
