That’s what I was thinking too. Having just three in my flock now seems too few, though they seem to be bonding together a bit more than before. Juin seems to be more accepted now by the Marans, which is nice.Thank you! It’s rough when the flock is small to start with. I think they are happier with at least 6 or 7 members.
I raised my chicks in the house last year and it was a real pain. Very messy too! From now on any chicks I get will be brooded outdoors. LOL
I loved raising my chicks indoors. It was nice knowing they were safe at night, just one room away. They were in my husband’s office though, so he got tired of it pretty quick!
