One egg and 13 hens LOL.... Not doing great! Those ladies need to pick up the pace!

The girls were out all day today and apparently sis never checked for eggs. Found two when I went down the close up the coop. The Bantys are still broody.

10 today with one being a fairy egg. This is the 1st one since the ladies started laying. I suppose I should just take it in stride unless it's a regular thing? I've no idea whose it is though.
I decided to spray with neem oil since the salad bar for chickens is not an option and there were aphids in the sweet potatoes. I managed to convince hubby to invest in a battery-powered sprayer and I am so happy we did! Stopping every 5 minutes or so manually pumping the old sprayer became tiresome and aggravating. I'd rather spend that extra time sitting with the chickens.

9 today! 1 was outside and was laid after normal laying hours lol The ladies found a new dust bathing spot. 12 chickens in a postage stamp area was fun to watch. We have 2.5 acres to choose from which makes it even more humorous!
