How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

2 today, from Juillet and Août.

Août’s eggs are still slightly wonky, but I’m hoping that she’s nearing the end of her laying cycle this year. They’ve all been laying since November!

3 today. Sis got two when she let the hens out this afternoon. Tonight I went to close up the coop and Flossy didn’t come in. I checked around her usual hiding places by flashlight and couldn’t find her. But I found a Banty egg in the Crepe Myrtles. Haven’t seen one of those in there before, it’s usually the big girls hiding their eggs.

I just did that today! I just crumble the shells with my fingers but I suppose the rolling pin would work a trick!

I am PennyJo so there only 1 of me.
They broke the mold.
6 have 2 best layers are acting broody not really are but darn.
0 banty eggs of the 4.

I just did that today! I just crumble the shells with my fingers but I suppose the rolling pin would work a trick!

I like using a meat tenderize. I place the dried egg shells in a fabric bag, place a thick towel underneath and hammer away. It's quite therapeutic.
