2 today, from Juin and Août.

It was very hot today. I was so happy when Juin laid her egg in the early morning, as Août and Juillet have been laying in the morning lately, and I was hoping they could all get the eggs out before the heat of the day set in. Août did her part in a timely fashion, but Juillet decided today was the day to wait until 3pm, and then sit in the coop for 2 hours even though she had no egg to lay.

I think the girls are done laying today, so 5 eggs. I gave them a big bunch of lemon balm, but not sure if they'll eat much of it. If they do, maybe I'll have some lemon-scented eggs to eat tomorrow!

how old are they?

I’m unsure how old my 2 hens are as I got them from an auction. One of my pullets is 20 weeks and the other three are 16 weeks. So should be anytime.
