6 today. One of the girls had poopy butt feathers, probably from drinking more water than normal during this heatwave. Got 'em cleaned up for her.

I am worried for my banty they are three.

Juillet sat for a good long time, but no egg. I imagine it will be laid while on the roost tonight. This is becoming a weekly thing for her.

I got 3 today and now I am wondering if Cinnamon is laying now. Penny's eggs are already at least medium in size. I'm hoping that when Peppa starts her eggs will be almost copper in color.

I pulled another five out of the nest this morning. I think the chickens are still recovering from yesterday's 100 degree temps. It's only 82 today which feels cool to me compared to yesterday.
