First day getting 2 eggs! Hope Elmo enjoys it.

One of my hens turned egg bound and I saved them with a salt bath I learned to make on youtube. They popped out a mini egg soon later and making a healthy recovery.

5 eggs (Including mini egg) today in the morning

14. 9 large eggs and 5 new layer eggs.

Update 16 eggs today. Two more laid in coop 1 this afternoon. Those girls are new layers and do not realize they are to lay in the morning. We have 8 nest available and we end up with three to four nest being used along with a few on layed on the floor under the nest boxes. I believe they know they will get the dirty eggs for a snack. The same as someone denting a can at the grocery store to get a discount. LOL

One egg today. And as Jade is again not going in the coop at night, I believe she’s got a nest somewhere and is sitting on some unfertilized eggs. I just can’t find the nest!
