14 lovely eggs, 15 if one counts the once again brittle broken one. I sure wish Butterscotch would moult already!

7 Sunday, 9 Monday and 8 yesterday and today.
None of the chickens from the batch I was gifted last May are laying yet. They're supposed to be Easter Eggers and I am eager for some different colored eggs apart from the brown my ladies are currently giving us.
This is Bruce. He is part of the colored egg deficiency of our flock. My husband is complaining that he has yet to hear him crow but I think his prime purpose in life is just looking handsome. I'm rather biased though.

Well he is very handsome. I would take a pretty chicken over a pretty egg any day

Me too! One of the many wonderful things about keeping chickens is that I get to see every sunset and sunrise, and sometimes they’re really spectacular
