Yes! That describes it exactly. It’s the first one I’ve seen from my girls, but I’ve been seeing a lot of irregular eggs lately. Lots of thin shelled, no shell and banded eggs. I keep oyster shell available and they get a 17%layer feed so I don’t know why they’re like that right now.Egg in an egg. Petunia laid one last Spring. Actually she laid 2 within a week of each other; she was plagued with laying issues. She has gone through a moult so I am hoping her egg factory settings have reset!
