How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

2 today from Août and Juin.

Test came back negative, and the chickens seem to be back to normal. I saw no blood today at all!:wee

I’ll keep watching them, but my working theory is that they ate too many salamanders and it upset their digestive tracts. Just a guess, but I’m going to keep them out of the areas by the creek as a precaution.

I am glad that they are ok, such a worry aren’t our lovely pets.

When I was cleaning the poop tables this morning, Pudding and Dora were busy in there and I got to witness (for the VERY first time) both of them lay their eggs. Dora lays a brown egg and they all sort of match, kinda, but there was always one that sometimes had some white speckling... that's Dora!! :D And there was a new layer, who was laying a more saturated green than Toffee but I didn't know who it was.. but it's Pudding! :D

A little later in the day, Harriet was the last to lay and SHE is the one laying those *beautiful* pale blue eggs that are almost white. She's a cream legbar without a crest. Very squatty girl - she will squat for you from 25 feet away lol she's a darling.

Love these girls so much
