I need to get another 54 or more chickens in order to meet the new egg customers' desire to buy them from me. When I had enough to sell no one wanted them and now that I don't have them everyone wants them.

Thank you. I don't have these plants, I have now put them on my list of plants to have in the garden. I have 13 chickens now, so I have no room left to add more, it will be awhile before I have more room to add duck/geese. I love geese by the look of it, so if I decide on adding Geese, I need more room to house 2 or 3.

Yeah..we’ve been getting soft shelled eggs lately for some reason.

.... I really hate getting soft shelled eggs, it worried me because some of them started to break inside and dripping eggyork and rubbery shell hanging.

My Isa brown hens do lay soft shelled eggs, that is their reproductive issues. It is usually started with soft shelled eggs, then it moved into lash eggs/Salpingitis as I understand it from reading online. It is treatable with antibiotic.

Might be look into that before it gets worse. The usual vitamin D with Calcium..etc.. there are a lots of posts on BYC about soft shelled eggs.
