9 from nine hens! Second time this has happened. My Girls were born June 24, 2024 so they're getting all their factories online and synced up!

6 eggs today, from 5 chickens.

Juillet laid two overnight on the roost bar, one good egg, one soft shelled. The other layers were Août and the pullets, Helmi, Marzo and Brelly.

13 eggs today!

I rode around to 2 different TSC today, and called about 6 others, because last week I missed some Speckled Sussex! But today they were not in the mix, there was nothing I was interested in and I want to get these little duckies some friends (and we need to add some pullets every year)

So instead, gotta mail chicks again, Greenfire Hatchery in North Floria, picked 2 more Black Copper Marans, 2 Ayam Ketani and 2 Vorwerk -- looking seriously forward to them all -- all are straight run, so it will be fun to see what we get.

We have a bachelor pad for any Cockerels we get, so I won't mind having some beautiful heritage rare breed Roosters! But let's hope for some pullets!


I have an order in at McMurray Hatchery (because they were the only Hatchery near me, for fast shipping, that had the breeds I wanted) and 6 more pullets from them in June 2 Silver Dorkings, 1 Golden Campines, 2 Lakenvelders and 1 Speckled Sussex!

We will see how it goes with both!
