2 eggs today, from Helmi and Marzo

Had to take Ebrel to the vet for a bumblefoot surgery today. It was beyond what we could treat at home, but she did great and now she’s surely going to heal up just fine. Got antibiotics for her and Helmi. I’m so ready to be done with these bumbles, and I’m sure the girls are too!

So apparently I should have checked for more eggs because today I had 13 waiting for me in the nest boxes.

(9/8) 5! 2 duck, 1 standard chicken, and 1 bantam.

(9/9) 5 again. 3 duck and 2 standard chicken eggs. No bantam eggs.

Big Red laid her third egg today after taking the day off yesterday. It is 9 grams heavier too!
