How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

6 eggs from 12 chickens... sub par, yes, but we've normally been getting 4-5 from these 12, and the most exciting part is that the 3 chickens who were the misfits for one reason or another, in a separate coop, each laid an egg today!! The most we ever got from them was 2, and that was maybe once or twice a month. Very exciting!!! My dad just rebuilt the coops and he made their nesting box bigger and higher off the ground, so maybe that did it. I had to call my parents though and now they're excitedly telling all their friends about the 3 eggs! Oh, chickens...

Ours are just starting to produce regularly, we have 18, 9 white barred rock sex links and 9 golden orb hens, both lay brown eggs.
We got the first egg at 20 weeks in late august and now have five a day.
Two of the eggs are full sized and three are still "pullet" sized but the girls are on full layer mash so it should gradually increase in the next month.

0 for 13, but of that 5 are roosters so I'd be pretty shocked if they laid an egg an you would definitely read about it, one is just a baby pullet, and that leaves me with 7 (21 wk old) freeloading pullets

7 eggs, our most to date!!We have 11 pullets but 2 are only 18 weeks and not laying yet! not bad for a bunch of newbies who have only been laying for a couple of weeks, huh?
