While I'm at it, here is August, they started laying in July but i didn't keep count then.

For October, they have laid 6 eggs every day so its going to be a good month.

so far 1 today but thats the first time I have gotten eggs two days in a row. So 5 eggs in 4 days out of 9 24 week pullets....

10x18 Still working on getting 18x18 one of these days....checked all the hens today for scaly mites, checked all the vents for mites gave each hen a good going over for any problems.....all their crops were full of feed.....eyes bright, combs bright colored, healthy looking ladies....

I got 4 this morning, our usual, went out and came back this afternoon to 2 more, that's a first. Sadly one was pecked open. I have no idea who laid the 2 or who pecked it open. I did notice this morning the chickens were unusually loud and fiesty with each other. Maybe the two new layers were moody/PMS.

6/9 all right we have slowed down some. I was getting 8 or 9 a day. I have 1 barred rock, 3 buff orps, 1 blue orp, I blue orp mix, 1 brahma mix, 2 comets that are layers. I have two new babies that are too young. 2 Splash orps. One is a roo. Gloria Jean
