3 out of 7. I have 3 not quite old enough yet. I have 1 a welsummer thats 6 months old that hasnt laid yet.

The most I've ever got is 13 from 14. I did get four green eggs from my three EEs in one day, absolutely confirmed - so one must have laid very early in the morning, then again later on that afternoon.

I have gotten 5 eggs a day from my 5 girls a few times. This last weekend we went out of town and asked a friend to collect eggs. She swears she got 6 eggs one day and 7 another day!!!! I usually let them out to free range about 10:30. The were mostly confined to their run while we were gone. So eating more of the egglayer. Is this possible or can she not count?

6 (I think--I only collected 3, didn't have time to look for more besides the 3 I didn't bring in this morning.) The avalanche of my 8 hens a-laying HAS BEGUN!!!
