We got our very first egg today!!! So that would be 1!!!

4/4 One of them is the biggest chicken egg I've ever seen. I've had a couple of double yokers that were big but not that big. I'm looking forward to cracking it open.

I got 1/7 today again! Why would my pullets lay one every other day for a few days and now just stop? My RIR is sitting in the nest box for over an hour, but no egg. If she was eating them, wouldn't I see some evidence of that? She just sits there and no egg! It is just so frustrating! Those little eggs taste so good and now they are making me wait again.

Also, yesterday a shell less egg fell from the roost. I don't know from who, but there's another treasure I missed out on.
