How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I haven't been getting ANY eggs lately, not even from my good old dependable rock hen. The weather has gotten colder here and we have had a few dark days in a row but not a single egg for about a week now. The hens also are looking very 'plucked'. I don't know if they are molting, kind of cold for that isn't it? I have been keeping them in more and have noticed that they are up on the roosts a lot instead of scratching around on the ground. What's up?

Hey, I've read about the required sunlight for winter egg production (which I won't be adding) but was also wondering about lesser protein intake having anything to do with it...since in the warmer months they gets buggies and such. prolly not so much in the winter.
