Well I have over 100 chickens and about 50 of them are laying or were laying and today we got 5 eggs????????????????? Whats up with that???

15/23 a little better than yesterday. Could be worse still yet. I'm seeing more losing feathers each day. Its a good thing I got some new pullets this past spring or I'd be in a fix in another week or so. It looks like all the older hens are going to molt at the same time this year. Maybe by then my last for youngens will be started laying some. I try to remember to have a few replacements on deck each year because when the molt hits its all of the sudden, no easing into it. It's either all go or all stop, no happy median.

28 yesterday. Still way down from what they ought to be, but it's the middle of molt. The new flock is steadily increasing their numbers as they come into lay.
