My 6 -month old black Andalucian/ comet mix hen was cakle-ing like crazy yesterday. Then today, there were 3 brown eggs hidden under the seat in our box-truck.Hubby leaves the door open, he uses the box as a storage shed. These eggs could be more than a few days old. Our temps have been in the 40's and 30's. hubby wants to save the eggs. I say they're not good now. Your opinions?

Four yesterday, and 1 so far from this mornings collection. I suspect there will be at least one or two more by this evening. The girls have been on increased protein and more frequent free ranging - and I am beyond thrilled with getting eggs from them once again!!!

I love my BA's - they have been my best layers so far.

Now with the snow, temps in the 20s and change in being able to go outside, only 4-8 from 14 girls...
