How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Slow day today, 7/9.

10/23 still hovering around the same numbers, so I guess that means I have a faithful few anyway. Really that's about how many pullets I have laying, the rest are in full blown molt right now. I shudder with chills everytime I look at their naked rumps, and often wonder why they wait so late to start molting. It's like this every year when it finally gets cold here in La. all my hens are just begining to molt. IDK

I am so proud of my little girls.

We are getting eggs again!!!

out of 5 barred hens 2 white hens 2 guinea hens 5 speckeled hens
for a total of 14 hens
(i hope they finish molting pretty quick)
and a big fat 0 for yesterdays egg count

14 chicken eggs from my Mix breed coop of 13 hens! And I have a couple ducks in that coop and i got 2 duck eggs from 2 hens. There getting there favorite treat tommorrow!
