How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

yesterday I got 14 eggs from 19 hens,,today they gave me 19/19,I guess its the weather ,I gave them a fresh layer of pine shavings and fresh straw in the nest boxes as a reward,hope that keeps their spirits up,the next ten days are going be in the middle teens to low 30s.I want them to stay comfy as possible,,wife done said no chickens in the house on cold nights

10 out of 11 so far....will check again at 5pm as one hen prefers to lay in the evening....

It is still cold here, I have been getting 2-3 a day out of 4 hens and about 8 pullets. I am so ANXIOUS for them to lay! We had a nasty bout of lice, right while they were molting and the pullets hadn't began to lay yet.... we went about 3 months with NOT ONE EGG. So I guess 2-3 a day is pretty good.

18 out of our 19 Gold Comets today. Happy chickens come from Statesville, North Carolina. They got a lot of greens today because I cut a big bag of collards from the garden and gave them the outer leaves. I gathered a big bunch of them up by the stems and hung them from a string I use to hang a head of lettuce from for them to bat around. For a few minutes they had a collard pinata but only for a few minutes. Pigs with Feathers...

17 eggs today from 21 hens

A few of my freeloaders has started laying. I am now getting a regular 3 eggs a day. I have 13 Light brahmas, 1 black star (supposed to be roo) and 1 buff orp/X (supposed to be roo). Who ever is laying (I think the 2 mixes) is doing it where they are supposed to in the litterboxes.
