FIVE from 6 hens that are laying at this time. Am getting one that is larger than the others...is it possible Dolly who began laying on 7/14 is starting to get down to business with normal sized eggs??

9/12 today, and one was powder blue according to my sister. Our first easter egg, and I missed it! I'm pretty sure it really is powder blue since she was an art major.

My husband joked about putting a video camera in the coop to see who is laying where (we recently installed a 6 nest box). I bet he does it before too long.

5/21 Yesterday and the ladies bounced back today with 9/21. And LOTS of double yokers

10/25 today.. i got 10, year old newbies on sunday. i got 4 eggs total so far from them the last 2 days. hopefully they will pickup eventually new souroundings need time to adjust.
