Our girls started laying this week...for 3 days in a row we got 2 eggs out of 16 ladies...yesterday we got 3!!
Today ...only 1...maybe it's the heat...

6/25 10 are new 1 year old birds i got 2 weeks ago. not doing much yet. and my older flock of 15, 16 month olds are slacking. maybe there going to start the moult.

5/6 Still have a slacker that has stopped laying...suspect it is Lucille...had a talk with that girl when I went out to collect the ice bottles.

3 eggs from 4 hens (would be 4 but one just started out) 6 others will start laying soon!!!!!

We got 5 eggs out of 6 birds! I got two new layers today...including one of our 2 easter egger....sage green.

They girls are all now 23 weeks old. I can hardly wait for the last easter egger to lay....hope it is a blue egg but I will be happy with any color other than brown.
