Found another shell-less egg in the nest this afternoon...guess one girl just can't get it right yet. Figured out how to solve my not getting 12/12....picked up 6 Red pullets at TSC!

4 for 4. Yesterday 4 for 4, day before that 6 for 7.
Yup, sold 3 girls to make room for spring; new chickies (once they hatch and grow some) and save the sprouts in garden (in another month or so). Yeah, real spring ain't for awhile here yet. Had to de-ice the waterer and plug it back in this morning. Ugh.

5/6 again today. I know they're all laying because I only got one Altsteirer ( white egg) today.
6 out of 10, but I'll get more than that tomorrow! I try to gather twice a day and my girls are so sporadic with timing that I never know what I'm going to get. I usually get 6-9 a day. I love my girls!
2/4- they've spent most of the day out in the back 40. The little roo got cranky and nailed me so I carried him around for awhile as punishment.
