How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I guess I can finally start posting here.

I have 23 chickens and one has finally started laying.


I got one egg today (my first egg).

24 8 week old chickens, 2 7 weeks old turkeys, 10 6 week old courtix quail

I got 1 quail egg!!

7 out of 10 after 3 days of 9 out of 10 so what can you do?

For the first time ever..... 3/3!

Penny has finally started laying so there were three delicious cackleberries waiting for me in the nest boxes this morning.

After almost a month of 1 egg a day for three days then a day off I am now getting 2 eggs. One of my chickens took a month off of laying,b ut she had been badly abused by the rooster that we had, he is now gone, all the chickens are now free ranging and she is laying again.
I hope soon to be getting more.
